Sight Seeing

Udaipur - The city of Lakes & Garden, is perhaps the most celebrated city on the Indian Sub-continent. The hotel itself is located so beautifully that your stay is a memorable-one. The picture you see above is a beautiful view from one of the rooms. When you look out side you see the most beautiful lake of Udaipur the Fatehsagar Lake. The island you see is Nehru Park. 

Moti Magri - Named after it's beauty resembling to pearl is situated opposite to Hotel Lakend. Entrance is made of huge gate & in the garden a memorial of MAHARANA PRATAP on his horse Chetak stands tall. This 11 feet bronze statue is unique. The view of lake & mountain ranges from the hill top is worth climbing.

Dudh Talai - This area is very near City Palace & was once used to be bathing ground. The lake you see is Lake Pichola.
You can climb up the mountain to see this beautiful scene & if you look back you see old palaces built by Royal Family for hunting. 
The local handicraft market is also near this place.

City Palace - One of the largest palaces of Rajasthan. The City Palace is situated near lake Pichola. The palace is famous for it's matchless beauty & majestic height. (The picture above shows the fine art & architecture involved in the Palace.) This Palace was once, home of Mewar rulers is now a museum run by the Maharana Mewar Foundation.

Saheliyon Ki Bari - The garden of maids of Honor. Situated between Fateh sagar lake & sukharia circle, the garden was an exclusive retreat for ladies connected with royal palace life. This is a must to see place. The place is full of marble art & fountains.
